What does the partnership structure look like?
Download the partner pack to get the full detail. The structure is designed to give you real equity in your site while Playfair provides the brand, technology, marketing, and operational support. This is not a franchise. You are a genuine co-owner.
What is the playfair fee and what does it cover?
A percentage of Total Gross Revenue is paid to Playfair Brands before any distribution. This covers the full brand licence, the complete technology platform, centralised marketing across all channels, the Playfair Studio Operations Playbook, and full operational support from head office.
Do I need to be at the venue every day?
No. The venue operates 24/7 on a fully automated model. Members book online, receive a PIN, and access the venue without any staff involvement. Playfair head office manages all marketing, member support, reporting, and ongoing operations.
What does the fit-out cost and who pays?
A typical 3 to 4 bay site costs approximately $250,000 to $300,000 to fit out to the Playfair standard including TrackMan equipment. The partner contributes $100,000 to $150,000. Playfair covers the remainder. All rebrand costs on an existing venue are covered by Playfair.
What if I already own a sim studio?
Existing venues are one of our most straightforward pathways. We buy into your existing business, rebrand to Playfair, transition you onto our platform within 30 days, and take over all day-to-day management. You retain equity and start earning passively.
Can I still coach at my own venue?
Yes. Coaching revenue is entirely yours. Coaches at Playfair venues pay bay hire for the sessions they use. Lesson revenue, club fitting income, and any personal training income stays entirely with you.
Is this available outside New South Wales?
Yes. We are actively expanding nationally with conversations underway across Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, and the ACT. If you have a specific market in mind, book a call and we will share our assessment of that region.
What happens if I want to exit?
The partner agreement includes documented buyout clauses covering both directions. If you want to exit, Playfair has first right of purchase at fair market value. The agreement is designed to be fair to both parties and is shared in full once you have downloaded the partner pack.
